The 1500m³ tank rim-mounted biogas holder with PVDF membrane can be installed on both concrete and steel tanks, provided the tank design accommodates the imposed forces. Thorough structural analysis ensures the integrity of both components during operation, offering flexibility for various project requirements.
The system features two membranes anchored to the tank wall top, with gas containment between the inner membrane and tank shell. The outer membrane is permanently air-supported. Containment volumes adapt to requirements, with structure height determined by volume needs and tank diameter. As gas volume decreases, the inner membrane floats on the tank's liquid contents.
More complex configurations may include a central support column and supporting underbelts spanning to the tank wall to support the inner membrane when containment is depleted.
